Our LIVESTOCK this month was titled “Shine Your Light”. We looked for pieces that were about 6 minutes in length and, again, we had a wonderful selection of great work – and a great night was had by both performers and audience. My work was titled “Energise Me” and involved multiple pairs of Energising Support Tights and a lot of stretching, wriggling and crawling.
In my performances, I want to examine the role of textiles within the structure of our society and use it’s narrative qualities to layer my work.
